Miriam was very interested in changing the kitchen floor at her rental. We got to work this Tuesday ripping out the old to prepare for a new floor. Addie like to ride over the uncovered rough boards. Alex and I got rid of the old floor and prepped for the new tile.
Mr. Jim, one of my school dads, and Mr Scott came in on Thursday and put down the hardibacker board and then tile on top. They worked very quickly and did a terrific job. Grouting was done on Friday and most of the work is done. I need to trim out the walls and cabinets for that finished look.
We think that baby Stella will really enjoy the new kitchen floor and we got it done before she arrived... Score one for Alex and Dad.
