War Weekend

We had a great winter weekend with the highs in the 20's and the lows in the single digits. Thus we decided to plow through our Netflix movies and saw Iow Jima followed by Flags of Our Fathers. Both of these deal with the same battle from the two different perspectives. Clint Eastwood directed both movies. This afternoon we moved ahead in time to see Charlie Wilson's War to end our "war focus" on a lighter note. We were glad to see the three movies and to reflect both on the folly and sometimes the need of war. Hope your weekend was a pleasant one for you. MLKing Day will add one more day to our weekend, but I think the movie watching is over for now.
